Hope you are all having a good day :) I decided to post this on Christmas day since i had nothing else for this day. This is what i am calling my Christmas outfit this year, i was this to the last class of uni for this year. I might wear these leggings on Christmas day, as I'm writing this in advance i don't know. I had to have the Christmas borders and effects because it's Christmas and nothing more. Besides this is kind of a boring outfit and needed jazzing up with the borders :)
So this is the last of the items in my advent calendar. The hand cream will come in handy next year, the Vaseline i will be giving to my mum as i don't like the stuff but i like the tin. As for the nail varnish i also won't be using this one as it's bright pink and i do not like pink. If i was a different colour i would be happy.
Tomorrow i will post a Christmas outfit of the day ^_^
Once it first arrived i was surprised by the packaging, it is well made
and the simple sliver package is sleek and looks nice, I like that it is
in spray form as it makes it slightly easier to use and it looks like a
high end product and a lot of thought went into designing it.
What it says:
Balances underlying issues of oil production
Promotes skin moisture retention
Astringent and regenerative to the skin
Calming and soothing effects to irritation
Promotes the skin cell's natural protective and defence mechanism
Gentle cleansing action
High anti-inflammatory and soothing properties
the product it's self, i couldn't quite place a smell for it. It smells
nice but i wasn't sure what is was supposed to be. I've been using this
on a daily basis. Just simply spraying it onto a cotton pad and whipping
over my face. It leaves the face feeling nice and soft. As i have dry
skin this leaves it hydrated. Also It leaves a smooth base for makeup
and i feel my makeup lasts a touch longer with this applied. It's
perfect for everyday use as it's not harsh on the skin, I've even used
this at night after removing my makeup and it catches any i missed.
The last week of this calendar, of course there is still some days left to open and i will post those after or on Christmas day. his weeks products have had some good stuff and some not so good. The hair brush to me just seams pointless right now since i have a few small ones already. I'm excited for the baylis and harding products as I've yet to try anything buy them. Again i got some more perfume but I'm happy with them as they will be ideal for my bag.
From a while ago when i went to London. I'd gone straight from work so i had no other outfit to change into, but sitting on a coach for five hours calls for something warm and this jumper is. Since it was autumn when i went i could get away with n jacket or coat and i only had a t-shirt under this. Don't ask me what bridge that is as i have no clue. You can see another outfit where i wore this jumper here.
Another week one by and seven days of goodies from my calendar. I like it a lot more this week. There is stuff from brands I've wanted to try before but thought they were a bit expensive. Nip + Fab is one of them, but this week in tesco they had a sale on their items so i picked up a deep cleansing fix to try. The Korres shower gel smells lovely and i can't wait to use it. Though i don't know what I'm going to do with the foundation brush as i don't use one. I'm waiting until I'm through all of the calendar before i start using them, they're all still sitting in it until then.
Every year i bring out my leather jacket and this year is no exception. I wore this when it wasn't so windy and as cold as it seems to be right now. I've wanted to wear these long socks for a while now but they never stay up, so over some leggings helped a little and safety pins to keep them in place. I like how this outfit turned out, it's plain but the socks make it.

So one week later and this is the stuff I've gotten from my advent calendar so far. I decided to do the posts weekly or it would just be to much. So far my favourites are the Paul Smith perfume and the Mini Soap. The Katy Perry stuff smells good but I'm not one for her or her stuff. The eyelashes, lip gloss and nail varnish might never get used, so that's annoying.
This year i decided to try a beauty advent calendar, but i didn't want to spend to much so when i saw tesco's for half price at £25 i had to buy it. They still have some in stock at the moment. Sorry for the bad photos, it's dark at 2.30am and i wanted to get this up before i forgot.
I only got this yesterday after waiting two days for it to be delivered to click and collect in store. So i had a few doors to open.
This is what I've gotten for the first four days, so far nothing brilliant though the Paul smith perfume smells lovely. I don't care for false eyelashes or lip gloss. I guess i could try the lashes as I've never worn any but for the lip gloss i won't use it at all, guess I'll have to sell it or something.
I'm thinking of updating this maybe everyday or once a week but I'm not sure, what do you think?
At the end i will do an over all review on it and tell you what i thought about the products for if it was worth the price.
